And now, we’re looking for a Senior Social Creative, Content to help us create bold, ownable formats and ideas that live in culture, not just on social.

£45,000 – £65,000 (DOE)

The Role

We’re looking for a creative powerhouse who can concept, write, and (ideally) create original content formats that punch through the noise. You’ll be at the heart of our Originals team – writing skits, crafting sketches, developing repeatable content formats, and cooking up ideas that are born to be shared. Think lo-fi brilliance, meme-y magic, and format-first thinking that doesn’t rely on a media plan to fly. Whether it’s a one-off sketch or a long-running series, you’ll make content that feels like it could only come from Fabric.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Original Content Ideation: Concepting bold, scroll-stopping content formats, from sketch series to lo-fi cultural commentary, memes to mockumentaries.
  • Writing Skits & Scripts: Writing tight, funny, culturally fluent copy for short-form content that feels native to TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, and beyond.
  • Format Development: Creating repeatable content formats with clear creative structures – ones that audiences want to see again (and again).
  • Making (Optional but Bonus): If you’re hands-on, you’ll bring ideas to life through filming, editing, directing, or even starring in lo-fi, high-impact original content.
  • Meme Creation: Ideating and crafting timely, brand-relevant memes that feel platform-native and culturally on-point.
  • Tone of Voice & Character Building: Developing unique personalities, characters or content pillars for both brands and Fabric’s own channels.
  • Content Experimentation: Testing new ideas, iterating based on engagement, and constantly pushing the creative envelope on what’s possible for brand social.
  • Cultural Tuning: Keeping our original content plugged into internet trends, cultural moments, and social behaviour to keep things fresh, funny, and fast.

What We’re Looking For

  • A Natural Entertainer: You’re a writer and creator at heart – you know how to make people laugh, double-take, and hit share.
  • A Format Freak: You understand the structure behind great repeatable content and know how to build a hook that hits in under 3 seconds.
  • A Cultural Commentator: You’re plugged into everything from TikTok drama to niche Reddit trends, and can turn that insight into great content.
  • A Hands-On Maker (Ideally): You’re comfortable turning around lo-fi video content, even better if you can shoot or edit yourself.
  • A Platform Pro: You know what flies on TikTok vs. Instagram vs. YouTube Shorts, and how to tailor tone, format and pacing accordingly.
  • A Strategic Mind: You get the ‘why’ behind the content. You think about audiences, behaviours, and what builds real connection, not just quick clicks.
  • A Collaborator: You love bouncing ideas around and working with other creatives, designers, editors, and community creatives to bring the magic to life.
